I became an Avon representative 6 weeks ago and love working with cosmetics and beauty products(it’s a girl thing). I was due to hold a ‘Pink Pamper Party’ this weekend, but unfortunately I got ill so this will be postponed until next month when the xmas season will be underway and I shall hopefully raise even more money for Breast Cancer Awareness with the gorgeous seasonal stuff on offer. Having suffered the disease myself this is a subject close to my heart and I’ll do everything in my power to try to fund breast cancer charities. Some days it’s too much to knock on doors when I’m feeling not so good and some people can be hostile and ignorant when collecting for the cause (and that’s just my neighbours),but I’m going to try to set up a collection in a local shop and hope that people will be generous and giving. Some people think they’ll never get cancer-but it’s on the rise and they too may be facing the battle that I had to endure later in their lives. Remember – money is worthless,to be healthy and alive is everything.
